2017 Open State Council Positions

Three volunteer leadership positions are currently available with the South Dakota SHRM State Council and another position will open beginning January 1, 2018.  We would like to identify candidates for these positions as soon as possible to begin including them in all of our meetings and sessions scheduled for the remainder of the year, including the Strategic Leadership Conference. If you are interested in serving in one of these volunteer roles, please contact Mary Drumm. The Council President will be providing the 2018 conference call and in – person meeting schedule for the year, with attendance at each of these a requirement of the role.  Four (4) conference calls and two (2) in-person meetings will be scheduled.  The in-person meetings include the State Conference (in Deadwood, May 2018), and the 2018 Strategic Leadership Conference in October (location TBD).

Serving on the State Council is a great opportunity to work with other volunteer leaders throughout the state. Participation also counts for recertification credits for the SHRM and HRCI Certifications!
